Dwight Kenneth Stewart

of Little Rock, AR

April 10, 1964 - January 20, 2026

Dwight Kenneth Stewart of Little Rock, Arkansas, age 61, entered eternal life on January 20, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1964, in Denton, Texas.

Family was the center of Dwight's world. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a faithful Christian, having accepted Christ at the age of 10 and remaining a lifelong follower of the Lord. Dwight was known for building strong, meaningful relationships with his family, friends, and the many patients whose lives he touched over his 37 years in practice.

Dwight graduated from Denton High School in 1982 and attended North Texas State University, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He later earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating as salutatorian. In 1988, Dwight moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked alongside Steve Bennett at Bennett Chiropractic for two years before founding his own practice, now known as Pain Care Associates. A dedicated and respected chiropractor, he cared for many of his patients for decades. Dwight was a long-standing member of the Arkansas Chiropractic Society and Arkansas Chiropractic Physicians Association.

An avid outdoorsman, Dwight developed a deep love for nature during his youth while pursuing the rank of Life Scout. He was also strongly influenced by annual family trips to the Rocky Mountains. That passion ultimately led him to Arkansas, where he put down roots and built his life and career. Dwight loved trips to Kansas and Colorado for hunting, treasuring the fellowship with family and friends even more than the hunt itself, along with biking, dirt bike riding, snow skiing and spending many summers on Lake Ouachita.

Dwight loved traveling with his family. Some of his favorite places included Cabo San Lucas, Colorado, Seaside and New Orleans. No matter the destination, being together with family and friends mattered most to him.

He was an active member of Parkway Place Church in Little Rock, where his faith and fellowship were a very important part of his life. Dwight will be remembered as caring, thoughtful, loyal, and deeply considerate, a man whose quiet strength and steady love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Dwight was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Stewart, and his brother, Daryl Stewart.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Teresa (Gateley) Stewart; his daughter, Alyssa Stewart; his stepson, Bradley Richardson (Madison); his stepdaughter, Sydney Dale (Aaron); and four cherished grandchildren, Collins, Monroe, Rhodes, and Quinn, who lovingly call him ''Pop.'' He is also survived by his mother, Francene Stewart; sister, Dana Ledford (Victor), sister-in-law, Leslie Stewart, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Place Church followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Dwight will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Parkway Place Church, 300 Parkway Place Drive, Little Rock, AR 72211, or Bighorn Ministries, 9088 County Road 76, Ohio City, CO 81237.

We are so saddened & broken hearted to read of Dr. Stewart’s passing. My husband and I thought the world of him as a physician and a friend. He was truly a rare gem in the healthcare arena and as a person. We will miss him dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family whom he loved so very much and spoke of in every conversation as well as his wonderful office staff whom he respected fully as a team. We are so thankful our paths crossed several years ago and will always remember him for his kindness, expertise and the gentle encouragement he shared with us to make our life better.

He was a man of integrity, and I respected his ability to handle the operations of the clinic(s) fairly and effectively. I counted him as a friend of the heart, despite our differences. Hearing the news of Dwight's passing took my breath away. He was a healer, so beautifully skilled in his craft. He helped me so many times, and referring my clients to him was never in question as to the care they would receive.

Grief makes the heart grow in time to hold more love. Dwight, your contribution continues, my friend! You will be missed. Blessings to you and your family now and always.

Although I know we are not meant to question God, this loss has been incredibly difficult. Receiving the call on January 21st was devastating, and the grief is deep. Still, I find comfort in knowing that Dr. Stewart was a good and faithful servant to our Heavenly Father, to his family and friends, to his staff, and to his patients.

I am forever grateful to my former colleague, Lee Lyle, for introducing me to Dr. Stewart nearly twenty years ago. The care I received at Pain Care was truly life-changing. I continue to lift prayers of comfort for all who knew and loved Dr. Stewart. His work here is complete, and I trust that God is well pleased.

Dr. Stewart was the very first person in Little Rock that my mother met 30 years ago. Throughout the years he has helped her and even saw me in a stroller. Then as an teen & adult he helped me in very difficult parts of life.
Six weeks ago, he helped turn my fiancée's life around.
He helped give my mom's life back.
He helped give my fiancée's life back.
He helped improve my own life too.

He was a true healer & friend.
He will be missed.
Rest with the Father & His angels
Dr. Stew.

We loved you,

Dr. Stewart, what can I say! I am in a state of shock. He was the one along with God that helped when I could hardly walk. I was on a cane. The pain was excruciating when I would get in and out of the car or even standing up out of a chair. I could not pick up clothes off the floor. My classmate recommended him to me and the rest is history. For 3 years he has been my go-to every 2 weeks to make sure that what happened before does not happen again. He would always give me that extra if something didn't seem to be working right in my body. To his family, you have my heartfelt sympathy. I will miss him deeply. The Angels are rejoicing! He is now resting in the arms of his Father, our Lord and Savior. One day we will see him again! RIP Dr. Stewart.
