Charles Arthur Harris (1947) passed away January 1, 2026. He was a devoted father, grandfather and man of faith whose life reflected a deep love for God, family and craftsmanship.
Charles professional life was spent in education, serving the majority of this time as an elementary school principal in Mountain Home Public Schools. Upon retirement Charles volunteered 11 years for National Evangelism with Sojourners serving the needs of Bible camps, Christian schools and colleges, small churches and Christian Children's Homes across the United States.
He is survived by his wife, Lanai; son, Joshua S. Harris; daughter, Charlsie (Harris) Rose; son-in-law, Scott Rose; sister, Arlene Humphries; and four grandchildren.
Charles was a member of the Church of Christ at Robinson and Center, Conway, Arkansas.

I worked for Charles in construction. He also rebuilt our house after the fire. He was very honest and kind man. He was a true Christian. Stan.

So sorry to hear about Charlie. He and Lanai were the best neighbors ever. We have many fond memories of him and his sweet family. Ted and Nancy

We each enjoyed working with Charles both in serving the Lord and in education. He showed such love and concern for our two sons when they were in his school and afterwards. Charles was such a kind, friendly gentleman who always had a funny story to share! Our prayers are with you Lanai, Josh, Charlsie and Scott.

I never have had a better friend than Charles Harris. I miss him.
