A very special note to the two most important women in his life
To Rayda: Who at the very tender age of 21, agreed to enter their lives and help with two teen aged kids 15 and 14. Also, two pre-teens, ages 12 and 10. Then not to much longer Doug came into their lives at around the age of 6. Also in the fold Kim, who was only 15 months old when they married. There were most certainly ups and downs all through the years, but thanks to Rayda it was more positive than negative and after 43 years, we can look back and see who gets the credit for the glue that held us together.
To Kaye: The daughter, the mentor, the guide. This is how he viewed his daughter. It may seem strange, but it is true. She's full of pure raw forethought. She's determined with her convictions and she won't back down, and he valued her advice very much and often.
In closing, we know this obituary is a little long and strange but for the people who have known him, will tell you, he was also a little strange. David Michael Jackson.
