Marquella Harris, age 81, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born on January 1, 1945, to William J. Harris and Oma E. Harris (Madden).
Marquella lived a large part of her life in Monette, Arkansas, where she was known as a hard worker, spending many years picking crops and doing whatever work was needed around the home. She was a woman of quiet strength, dedication, and perseverance.
She had a deep love for children and adored spending time around them. In her quieter moments, Marquella enjoyed working with yarn, painting, and coloring, finding joy and peace in creativity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Oma E. Harris, and her siblings: Martha Lowery, Lloyd Harris, Janie Taylor, Lois Dunn, and Eulla Bell Marsh.
Marquella is survived by her nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, who will cherish her memory and the love she shared. Marquella will be remembered for her hard work, kind heart, and the gentle care she showed to others throughout her life.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Providence Assisted Living for their love, care, and compassion over the last few years, and especially in the final moments of her life.
Visitation will be held 5:30-7:30PM, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be 2:00PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Macey Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas.
