My best gardening companion at Gleaners Garden which he founded and made me his partner. I can’t count the many acts of kindness he showed to me, my family and my friends that he met. For 16 years we were joined at the hip through the garden and I will miss him dearly as I try to carry on without him. Words are endless for Brother Dale. The kindness and understanding he showed to people he met. His generosity was immeasurable. I’ll miss you dearly and make sure that I
make it to the other side where I know you are when the time comes.

Forever love for you,
Denise Devlin

I only knew brother Dale for a short time but in that small time he was a mentor and true friend as well as the pastor of our church for a short time. He was always about doing the Lord's work. I will miss brother Dale, but the Lord has put another jewel in his crown. May God bless your family in this difficult time. Everyone is praying that God will give you strength.

We loved Bro. Dale and never had a doubt that he loved us. He showed us and everyone he met love. We know that love came straight from Jesus.
We are sending our many prayers for comfort and deepest congratulations to Sis. Susie and the rest of the family.

What a man of God. I read a book once called, “Outlive Your Life” by Max Lucado. Dale certainly did. His impact in the city of North Little Rock and beyond point to this great man. You want to experience Dale Go to a food closet. Go to a church led food pantry. Look at people who would be hungry w out his generosity. Thank you, Brother Dale for your life. Sunday he heard the words we all king to hear. “Well done you good and faithful servant. You were faithful with little now you will be in charge over much.”

Br. Dale Prater was one the most humble men I remember meeting. He really listened to me, and inquired with me about the struggles of being a single mom to my two beautiful girls, one whom had lost her dad at the age of two, and one whose dad struggled with opiate addiction. Br. Dale showed great concern and compassion even when my own Pastor of years hadn't shown a concern of the difficulties my daughters encountered, only judgment. Br.Dale was a Pastor who would come preach at our church on many occasions when our Pastor couldn't be there.

I say this not to degrade anyone else, but just to point out the fact of the impact Br. Dale made even in the lives of the churches he visited. God used this man to reach many. A gift that God gave him in showing others that he truly cared about the lives of those under his preaching.

I was blessed to know this man, and I know that his legacy will live on because of the love of Jesus that he shared with everyone, not just a select few.

My condolences go out to his wife, family and friends. I know you are suffering great loss, and you are in my prayers. We can be happy for him as he is in heaven with Our Heavenly Father.
