Martha Jane "Cricket" Watkins

of Conway, AR

November 27, 1947 - January 12, 2026

Martha Jane Watkins, ''Cricket'' passed away January 12, 2026, at the age of 78 years old. She was a gentle soul and was loved by everyone she ever met. She loved football, especially the Razorbacks and always asked how the team was doing. She loved talking about our pets, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Delores Watkins. She is survived by her sisters, Nancy Spurr (Rick), Anne Bailey (Bill), and her brother, Skip Watkins (Mary). She is loved by her 10 nieces and nephews who remember her dearly.

The family wants to thank the many people who were influential in Janie's life: Conway Human Development Center, lndependent Living Services and the women of Reynolds House, and Heritage Living Center and the many nurses that cared for her.

ln Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to lndependent Living Services or a charity of their choice.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2:00pm at Roller-McNutt FuneraI Home with visitation preceding at 1:00pm.
