Rita Ann Ament, 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was born in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, to Hadley and Gladys Clark. Throughout her life, she was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and deep devotion to those she loved most. Family always came first for Rita, and she treasured time spent with her loved ones. She also found great joy and peace in fishing, a pastime that brought her happiness and many cherished memories.

Rita leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Joseph Ament; her son, Todd (Darlene) Gouchenour; and her daughter, Susan (Patrick) Smith. She is also lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were a source of pride and joy in her life.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittana Ann Marie Smith; her sons, Dan Gouchenour and Dennis Gouchenour; and her sister, Joanne Ragan.

Rita's love, kindness, and enduring spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Services will be at Roller Funeral Home at 1:00 pm with burial at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
