Maxim Robert Cabrera

of Little Rock, AR

March 2, 1979 - January 8, 2026

Maxim Robert Cabrera, 46, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was born on March 2, 1979, in Hialeah, Florida, and passed away on January 8, 2026. He is survived by his husband, Jeremy Laxton, and his mother, Elizabeth Bentley. Maxim leaves behind many close family members and friends, along with his three beloved dogs, Violet, Benny, and Zander.

Professionally, Maxim worked in Human Resources and Recruitment. He also proudly served a term on the board of Central Arkansas Pride.

Maxim was proud to be a third-generation Cuban American. A self-proclaimed foodie, he loved trying new things. He had a deeply caring heart and, on many occasions, opened his home to friends in need, allowing them to live with him and his husband while they got back on their feet.

Family and friends will remember many things about Maxim, including his vibrant personality. He will also be remembered for his impeccable style and his gifted ability for decorating and creating beautiful flower arrangements. Charismatic and truly the life of the party, Maxim loved hosting gatherings in his home filled with laughter, dancing, and singing.

Maxim's love, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, with visitation with the family at 12:00 noon.

Max was my stepson for a while. He had a big heart and was naturally funny. He had a quick wit and I’m sorry he has left this life. My prayers for Elizabeth and her family and Maxs friends

Upon moving to Little Rock, Max always made me feel like family. Always very cheerful and caring he made sure I had necessary tools needed to thrive in work. And even acknowledged and celebrated my birthday as if he'd known me for years. Truly a good person gone to soon.

I used to cut Max’s hair and always loved listening to his stories. He was small but feisty, with a spirit that filled the room. I’ll miss getting him ready to go out with his amazing husband, Jeremy.

Max will forever be missed and will always remain in my heart. My Dearest nephew knew how much I loved him and how much we enjoyed spending time together. He was witty, charismatic and intelligent. Our family has suffered a huge loss.
He will be greatly missed by so many. Rest in peace Maxito.

I was blessed to have known this family. Max had a laugh I will never forget and he and his mom such a contagious spirit of love and laughter. He and Jeremy's wedding in a rain storm just surrounded by joy. May peace find you all somehow.
