Donald R Betterton, 76 of Arlington, TN passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2025. He was born in Luxora, AR on February 6, 1949 to J. D. and Veteral Betterton. He was a retired Attorney, a member of First Baptist Church in Osceola, and a member of Osceola Kiwanis Club. Donald graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law. Over his years in Law, he served as Deputy Prosecutor, City of Osceola attorney, and District Court Judge. He is survived by his wife: Carol Brigance; step-son: Michael Brigance (Jacquelyn); grandchildren: Lola Brigance and Liam Brigance; sisters: Betty Helper and Dianna Lynn Betterton. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers; Danny Betterton and David Betterton.

My brother Freddie and Don were classmates and remained good friends through the years. Betty and I are classmates and she is a special friend to me. Sorry Betty to you and your family for your loss.

The Betterton family was a wonderful family to grow up with. Donald was a very sweet, caring man. My prayers will be with Betty, Lynn and the entire family.

Donald was a great kid when I was younger and lived right around the corner from him. Always ready for sports and anything active. He was very studious and I knew he would do very well in the future. Condolences to all his family and friends. Miss his brother Danny too.
