September 16, 1939 - December 24, 2025

Clarence Joe Green, Jr, ''Junior'', 86, of Mayflower, Arkansas, went peacefully to be with the Lord at home, December 24, 2025. He was born on September 16, 1939, in Mayflower, Arkansas to the late Clarence Joe and Ora Henry Green. Junior served the United States Military for both the Army National Guard and the Army Reserves.

Junior Green was a simple, soft, gentle man, content with the simple life. Never in a hurry. Farming was his passion. You name it, He had it. Goats, Sheep, Chickens, Cows, Pigs, Horses, Donkeys, Deer, Capybaras, Bees and the list goes on. He was known as the best Goat Milker in all hero township! And that's a fact!

A lifetime of trading with just about every small farmer around. Always had a corny ''Papa Joke'' to tell. Didn't have a mean bone in his body. Always forgiving. He took on burdens without complaint. Always wanted everyone around him to be happy. His Favorite scripture was ''A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.'' Proverbs 17:22. He loved his grandchildren to the fullest. Every single one loved the farm. Throughout the generations there was always one (or sometimes two) that would carry on that love; from Lum Green to Clarence to Junior to Chris to Trent. But in all his grandchildren he instilled the love and respect of the farm. He prayed without ceasing, through the day, under his breathe, in the night with hands raised praising and praying to God Almighty. You could say he was a very rich man and you'd be right!

He was preceded in death by his precious wife of 60 years, Frances Dycus Green; a sister, Trivelene Strauss and his brother, Jimmy Dee Green.

Junior is survived by one son, Chris Green (Denean); one daughter Tracy McClain (Eddie); six grandchildren, Toshua Thomas (Jacob), Jennifer Lee (Tim), Dr. Trey McClain, Trent McClain (Jaclyn), Emilie Herald (Peyton) and Todd McClain (Hannah); eight great-grandchildren, Ayden, Tayton, Brielle, AubriAnna, ClaraKay, Alana, Rynleigh and Livilynn; one sister, Dorean Garrett and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00am.
Bro. Terry Turner will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jacob Thomas, Tim Lee, Dr. Trey McClain, Trent McClain, Todd McClain and Peyton Herald. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Barksdale, Steve Herron, Tim Raney, Ayden Lee, and Tayton Thomas. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery.
