Jacqueline Ann Fitch, 76, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, in Cabot, Arkansas. She was born on Tuesday, March 29, 1949, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Jack Lowery and Lois Gordon.
She worked for Barton School as an elementary teacher for twenty-eight years until she retired. She was a member of the Lexa Baptist Church and enjoyed reading her bible and tending to her flowers. Jacqueline had a heart full of love. She was an active member of her church community and would visit the members who were not able to leave their homes and attend worship. She loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jay Fitch (Brooke) and Heather Snowden (Tim); grandchildren, Dakota Snowden, Grant Fitch, Brooke Snowden, Aaron Fitch and Nate Fitch; one sister, Rita Cash; host of friends and family.
Jacqueline is preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-three years, James David Fitch; parents, Jack Lowery, Lois Gordon, and Ira Hankins; siblings, Kenneth Lowery, Kay Lowery, Larry Hankins and Bonnie Hankins Harden.
Pallbearers will be Dakota Snowden, Tim Snowden, Grant Fitch, Aaron Fitch, Nate Fitch, Tyler Cash, Ethan Ward and Jerry Bruiser Pryor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Cash and Myrl Grace.
A graveside service honoring the life of Jacqueline Ann Fitch will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas.
