Vicky Lynn Smithey, 56, of Wilson, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025. She was born in Michigan on February 9, 1969, to Harold and Mary Baker. Victoria worked at Kagome Foods in Osceola. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, decorating her home, and loved animals. Victoria is survived by her loving husband: Skipper Smithey; sons; Taylor Turner, Blake Turner and Matthew Smithey (Kaitlyn); brother: Harold Gene Baker Jr. (Jill); sister: Stacy Gray (Steve); special niece: Allyson Gray and many other nieces, nephews, family members and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held at a later date.

This was a shock and breaks my heart for Vicky’s family, especially Stacy. She was my bestie growing up. Vicky was the picture of an annoying younger sister when we were growing up. She would always get Stacy in trouble lol. A couple of years ago I came across her Facebook and was very proud of her accomplishments and what a pretty young woman she had grown into.
