of Little Rock, AR

May 30, 1967 - December 12, 2025

Shawn Duane Reisman, age 58, of Arkansas, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on May 30, 1967, in Wellsville, New York, to Robert Reisman and Sharon Waydelis.
Shawn was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Terasa Reisman, and his father, Robert Reisman. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Waydelis of Brockport, New York; his brothers Rob Reisman (Heidi), Shane Reisman, and Shannon Reisman; his sisters Rhonda Reisman and Laci Reisman. He is also survived by a big, loving circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who felt more like family and will miss him dearly.
He leaves behind his cherished children, who were the pride of his life: Stephanie Militello (Joe) of Nashville, Tennessee; Delaney Davis of North Little Rock; Perry Young (Tyler) of Maumelle; Madison Canady (Jermel) of Little Rock; Hayden Becker (Anthony) of Pine Bluff; Landon Davis (Brooke) of Little Rock; Donovan Mason of Maumelle, and Myles Reisman of Sherwood. As well as his treasured grandchildren: Skyler, Dustin, Anthony, Liam, Bentley, Michael, Diana-Marie, Kylen, Mason, and Amelia.
Shawn was a devoted follower of Christ and lived his life deeply rooted in faith. His church home was Family Church in Redfield, Arkansas, where he found community, purpose, and strength in his walk with the Lord. He had a heart for children and was a passionate advocate for their wellbeing, serving as a CASA volunteer for foster children. His love for his wife Terasa was unwavering and enduring, and she remained forever present in his heart.
Shawn found peace and freedom on the water. Fishing and boating were where his mind was still and his spirit at rest, and some of his happiest moments were spent there. He also possessed a strong entrepreneurial spirit, enjoying the challenge of building businesses and guiding them toward success.
Shawn will be remembered for his faith, his fierce love for his family, his generous heart, and his ability to bring strength and calm to those around him.

As we grow older knowing people like Shawn and his family was a gift from God. As life offers so many but true friends or very few . When your life is going so quickly it is always heart to see his wife chipper and doing something that will be remembered the rest of my life. Both of them were always together doing it. May he rest in piece .
