Toney Ray Smith, 67, of Corning, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on February 13, 1958, in Pocahontas, to Guy and Opal Smith. Toney was a high school graduate of Corning High School. He worked for Basler Electric.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include sons, Josh Smith, Brandon (Amanda) Smith; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Roger Smith, Rodney Smith, Tommy Smith and Jerry Smith.
Services will be private.

In loving memory of an uncle who always had a $100 on the dash for anyone who could grab it before 4th gear. A man who could pick out a watermelon sweeter than any candy. We will miss you.

My little brother
We had some great times together through the years. When we was little we would make our own sling shots, spears go exploring around our house that was surrounded by woods. We would also make our own fishing poles and caught grass hoppers fish at the creek. Mom never really knew the trouble we would get into. We may have lived distance for years but still feel close. How blessed I am to had you as a brother and will miss you.
