Mark Ray Norwine

of Little Rock, AR

January 6, 1963 - December 12, 2025

Mark Ray Norwine made his way to paradise on December 12, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, leadership, curiosity, laughter, and calm assurance. He was the kind of person who made you feel safe simply by being nearby and who could lighten any moment with humor exactly when it was needed most.

Mark is survived by his beloved husband, Ricky Martinez; his sister Lisa Bridges Booth; his sons Pierce Norwine, Camden Norwine, and Tyler Gober; his daughter-in-law, Leah Norwine; and beloved family members DeEnna and Jay Runyon, and Keith Gober. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen Norwine and Freddie ''Fritz'' Norwine.

Mark was truly a jack of all trades. He seemed to know a lot about most things and when he didn't, it never stopped him. He had an uncommon confidence to jump headfirst into the unfamiliar, trusting that clarity would come along the way. His most beloved and well-known phrase, spoken often and with a knowing smile, was simply: ''We'll figure it out.'' To those who knew him best, this wasn't just a saying it was a promise. It meant that no matter how uncertain things felt, everything would be okay.

This phrase perfectly captured Mark's essence. He was cool, calm, and unshakably laid-back, even in life's hardest moments. He brought humor and laughter into every situation, often diffusing tension with a quiet joke or a perfectly timed comment. He had a rare ability to see the good in people and to find beauty in every situation. A banker by trade, Mark's true calling was to lead, to love, and to create.

Mark had a deep passion for architecture and home design, paired with an unmatched attention to detail that showed in everything he touched. If Mark was involved, it was done thoughtfully and done right. Above all else, he loved people. He never met a stranger, and he never hesitated to help someone in need.

He was a steadfast leader, guiding his family through every hill and valley with quiet strength, wisdom, and unwavering presence. He was a wonderful father, partner, and human being steady, kind, endlessly supportive, and always able to make you laugh when you needed it most.

While Mark will be deeply missed, his family rejoices in the faith that he is now in paradise with our Lord likely redecorating heaven and admiring the architecture of eternity. And when we see him again, we imagine greeting him with a hug and asking, ''What's next?'' only to be met with that familiar smile and the words we've always trusted most:

''We'll figure it out''
