William Lee Lange, 83, originally of Harper, TX, went to be with our Lord, December 2, 2025. William passed away peacefully in his AR home with his loving wife of 56 years. He was born on March 24, 1942 in Fredericksburg, TX to Joseph and Selma Maurer Lange. William was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles, Bernard, Alvin and Felix. William is survived by his wife, Judy Ann (Burns) Lange and his siblings, Jerome Lange and Annie Rendone.
William or Bill, was valedictorian of his Harper High Class of 1961. Bill attended Texas A & M College Station where he earned B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering. When he graduated in 1966, Bill accepted an engineering position working for Hughes Aircraft in California.
On April 12, 1969, Bill and Judy Burns were married at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, AR. They lived in their California home enjoying their Catholic faith and community. Upon retiring from their professional careers, Bill and Judy bought a ranch in Bill's hometown of Harper, TX. Bill enjoyed his retirement volunteering, bird watching and being outdoors chopping cacti on the ranch. Bill was an avid reader, enjoyed nature and was a member of "The Birdwatchers Club". Bill was gentle, sweet-natured, generous and kind. Many are so grateful to have known and loved him.
Burial services for William Lee Lange will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, AR officiated by Father Daniel Wendel on December 9, 2025. Rosary at 10:00am. Immediately followed by the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, burial at Saint Joseph's Columbarium and meal to follow.

I am so sorry for your loss. William was a great guy. I have many fond memories of him. He was one of the kindest people I ever knew. A brilliant student. He was always willing to help other students in high school.
