Donnie Faye Canfield, 95, of Searcy, Arkansas gained her heavenly reward on December 3, 2025. She was born in Floral, Arkansas on November 15, 1930 to Harvey Houston Pitts and Etna Mae Pearson.

Donnie grew up playing basketball, picking cotton to get through school and singing group gospel along the way. She was raised on the family farm with her siblings, raising pigs and chickens.

She received her Bachelor's degree from Arkansas College, now called Lyon College and her Master's Degree from Harding. She worked as a teacher at Searcy Public Schools before having her children. After she married Darrell, she worked at AAA Rent-All, the family business.

Donnie was known as a loving and serving person. She was committed to family and her church, serving everyone with whatever they needed. She was known by Momma Canfield by her children's friends. She was a very doting grandmother. Her hobbies included playing the piano for the nursing home ministry at church, as well as crocheting and knitting.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell Glenn Canfield; brothers, Houston Albert Pitts, James Pitts, J.D Pitts, Joseph Aaron Pitts; sisters, Mildred L. Pitts, Evelyn Lucille Wood, Opal Marie Wood and grandchild, Ryan Edward Potter.

Donnie is survived by brothers, Donald Herbert Pitts, Grover Dean Pitts, Roy Lee Pitts; children, Kyle Glen Canfield (Lisa) and Dee Ann Cole (Tracy) and grandchildren, Morgan Mariah Potter, Lauren Leslie Potter-Hill (Noah) and Megan Ashley Canfield.

Visitation will be held at 1pm Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Roller Daniel Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service 2 pm. Interment will be at White County Memorial Gardens in Searcy, Arkansas.
