Jean Verna Cummings, 89, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, at home. She was born December 8, 1935, in Red Rock, Arkansas, to the late Oliver and Ola (Shatwell) Holt.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo Cummings; her first husband and the father of her children, Percy Craig; her son, Dewayne Craig; her parents, Oliver and Ola Holt; two brothers, Clinton Holt and Leon Holt; and one sister, Bernice Vanderpool.
Jean is survived by her sons, David Craig, and Jimmy Craig; her daughters, Patricia Hunter, and Barbara Craig; 8 grandchildren, James Craig, Hannah Craig, Nathan Craig, Latricia Dyess, Carl Stephen Hunter, Jr., Dewayne Craig, Pierce Lewis Bornick, Tryggve Lewis Bornick; 7 great-grandchildren, Tryggve Lewis Bornick, Jr., Aly Craig, Austin Craig, Michael Dyess, Brenden Dyess, Kiley Ann Hunter, and Clayton Ellis Hunter; one sister, Louise Wells; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 5, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery, Deer, Arkansas.

I'm so sorry to hear that , but she's happier and in a better place than we are . She was a very sweet and loving woman who would help anyone who needed it. I'm honored to have known her and to know her wonderful daughter Pat. May God be with you and comfort you .

We are so thankful to have known Sis Jean and Bro Lee. They was both such great pillers in our church. We will miss her and miss her anointed singing but we rejoice in knowing she's finished her race and is now with Jesus her savior and Lord
