of Calico Rock, AR
April 18, 1932 - November 27, 2025
Mary Alice Teague was born in 1932 and was the oldest of 6 daughters born to Richard Teague & Bertha White Teague at home in Heafer, Arkansas. She was raised on a farm but spent many happy hours in the Ozarks which was home to her paternal relatives in Fifty-Six.
She married Johnny W. Beck in 1949 & they had two children, Connie and Michael. They relocated to Texas for work during which time Mary responded to the gospel, believed on the Lord Jesus as her Savior and was baptized along with her daughter. In the early 1960's the family returned to Arkansas due to a diagnosis of a terminal illness in her 29-year-old husband. She then had to work 2 jobs, sometimes 3, to support the family for several years. Excelling in her work she became a journeyman in electronics. In the 1970's she went back to Texas to establish her own successful trucking company. When she retired to Calico Rock in the late 1990's, she immersed herself in the church, many volunteer clubs, the community and the lives of her growing family.
In her "old age" she enjoyed the company of her card playing friends. She was always thinking of others. She expressed thankfulness for everything done for her. She had a quick wit. She was mentally sharp and as she declined in physical health her mind was fixed on Jesus.
She left this life at the age of 93, survived by Connie and Michael (wife, Shirley); two sisters; six grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all, but will be gloriously reunited one bright day with all who are In Christ.
A memorial service will take place on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Calico Rock, Arkansas beginning at 3:00 PM.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Roselawn Cemetery in Calico Rock, Arkansas.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

I really don’t have the words to express my sadness. I’ve said she lived life to the fullest. She gave me a job and a place to stay in Dallas. She introduced me to Mike and I’m forever grateful. Hugs, kisses and prayers. Much love sent to you Connie and Michael.
