Edith Jenkins, 85, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her home. She was born on January 26, 1940 in Guys, TN to James and Edna (Wilson) Smith. She was of the Baptist faith. Edith was the owner and operator of Jenkins Arts and Crafts until her retirement and enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Edith is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, David Henry Jenkins; son, Mike Jenkins; her parents; brother, Jimmy Smith and sisters, Edna Fields and Maggie Cook.
Those left to cherish the wonderful memories of Edith are sons, David ''Roosie'' Jenkins, Jr. and David (Brandy) Jenkins III; daughter, Cindy (Bob) Winkler; grandchildren, Jason (Amber) Winkler, Mark Winkler and Evan Jenkins; great grandchildren, Ruth, Evelyn and Vivian Winkler and many more family, friends and loved ones.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401) with Chad Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation will precede the service beginning at 10am.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jason Winkler, Mark Winkler, Evan Jenkins, David Jenkins III, Roosie Jenkins and Bob Winkler.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Edith's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Center (262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105).

I met Edith through CFC not knowing she lived 2 house across the street from me at the time. She was always very friendly and very witty at times. I loved her dry humor. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to the family ( and her little Danny)

Even though I’ve never met Edith’’s family, I feel like I know you. You all were next to God in her life, she loved you deeply .
I loved her quick wit. and her kindness toeveryone

Edith was a joy to be , She always had a smile and something funny to say. Our SS Class at Community Fellowship Church won’t be the same . She was loved by everyone. My life was blessed to know her.

Edith was a dear sweet friend. I met her though Comunity Fellow Church a few years ago. I cherished her friendship and will miss her smiling face and hugs.

To the family , we are so sorry for your loss. Edith will be missed, she was a special little lady. We were in SS class at Community Fellowship Church, that is where we first met her. May God comfort you all at this time .
