Patricia Owens, 79, of Batesville passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025.
She was born May 10, 1946 in Clarksville, Tennessee to John Carpenter and Florence McPherson.
Patricia was a member of Central Ave United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother; she loved taking care of everyone and spending time with her family. Patricia ran a daycare out of her home in the 90's. She loved to play bingo, watching game shows, especially ''Let's Make a Deal'' and the soap opera ''Days of Our Lives''.
Survivors include her two sons, John Owens and daughter-in-law, Cynthia of Wylie, Texas and Carl Owens, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Clara of Hendersonville, Tennessee; seven grandchildren, Kyle Owens, Beau Owens, Morgan Owens, Caleb Owens, Carl Owens, Kaylan Henson and Garnett Henson; one great-grandchild, Isabella Owens and daughter-in-law, Tiffany Henson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl B. Owens; son, Patrick Owens and daughter, Melissa Owens; four brothers, Robert Carpenter, J.W. Carpenter, Otho Carpenter and Raymond Carpenter; one sister, Louella Terrell and nephew, Joe Terrell.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Owens, Caleb Owens, John Owens, Max Rucker and Paul Henson.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00am Monday, November 24, 2025 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery in Newark.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the funeral home.

John I know that the loss of a parent is one of life’s hardest events. Rachelle and I are sending you, Cindy, Kyle and Beau our love. There are no words to decrease the pain of your loss. Pat used to babysit me when I was a kid she was very sweet to me she spoiled me rip sweet lady u will be missed

I meet this lady approximately 35 yrs ago I was big pregnant 32 yrs ago when she put me to work. She helped more than some even know.
