David Clint Templeton, age 67, of Maumelle, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Born on October 2, 1958 in New Orleans, Louisiana, David was the son of Leslie Templeton and Jewel Templeton and grew up with strong Southern roots and a lifelong love for sports and adventure.

David spent his formative years in Louisiana and attended Ouachita Parish High School, where he excelled in both baseball and football. His athletic ability carried him to the University of Louisiana at Monroe, where he competed on the school's nationally recognized water skiing team. As one of the top slalom skiers in the country at the time, David's talent and dedication contributed to the team's national championship success.

Driven by ambition, perseverance and a sincere desire to help others, David founded Adage Financial Consultants in 1991. For more than three decades, he served as a trusted financial advisor to countless families and individuals. Clients knew him for his expertise, but also for his warmth, humor and the genuine personal connection he formed with everyone who walked through his door.

Outside of his professional life, David had a deep passion for cars. One of his proudest personal achievements was restoring his high school car, a 1973 Trans Am, in 1997. Through extensive hours in the garage and a meticulous eye for detail, he brought the car back to life and went on to win numerous car shows. The Trans Am became a reflection of his craftsmanship, patience and dedication to the things he loved.

David also had a gift for bringing people together. He loved to host gatherings, cook for friends and family and fill his home with laughter. His quick wit, playful sense of humor and ability to make others smile left a lasting impression on everyone who spent time with him. Whether he was grilling outside, telling stories around the table or simply making someone feel welcome, David created moments that people cherished.

A devoted Razorback and New Orleans Saints fan, David rarely missed a game and loved celebrating every victory. He was also an enthusiastic supporter of his son's paintball career, traveling across the country to attend tournaments and cheer from the sidelines. In the late 1990s, David fulfilled a dream of entrepreneurship by owning and operating "Lucky's Sports Bar & Grill", a place that became known for its warmth, camaraderie and community spirit - another extension of his love for hosting and bringing people together.

David is survived by his son, David Andrew Templeton and daughter-in-law, Amanda Templeton and by his treasured granddaughter, Emerson Templeton, who brought immeasurable joy and pride into his life.

He is also survived by his sisters, Beth ''Lola'' Pokorny and Charlotte Bentley and his brothers, Tem Templeton, Stephen Templeton and Ron Mason. David's bond with his siblings remained strong throughout his life, grounded in love, shared memories and enduring connection.

David's love, kindness, humor and steady presence will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, clients and the countless lives he touched.

In his lifetime, David exemplified determination, generosity and heart. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate the remarkable man he was and the profound impact he made. May his memory bring comfort and peace and may he rest in eternal grace.
