So sorry for your loss. I'm sure Chancy was special with a sister like Mary. Sending lots of love.

Uncle Chancy like his father, my Paw Paw, where he was one of a kind. Love and kindness are words to describe him and how you felt when you were around him. He is with his beloved Berta and you can hear them laughing and telling tales. May we all remember his love and kindness and carry this forth to family and friends.

You made me be a better person. I'll miss you Pappy...

I will always fondy remember Uncle Chancy
We shared the same birthday July 5th. My mother told me after I was born he rode a motorcycle all the way to Hagerstown, MD to see his new neice. Uncle Chancy was a one of a kind gentleman. A good man. He was my favorite uncle.
I will miss him, along with all the others who loved him and were blessed to know him.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I learned from Chancy, I only wish I could have shared a drink and shook his hand here recently, my thoughts and prayers are with the family. Thank you sir, for allowing us rowdy teens a place to call our second home 🫡

He was a dear, close friend and neighbor that we will forever miss.

Your dad was a great guy! As one of the many kids Chancy and Berta put up with over the years, I'll always remember them both with great fondness. I hope Chancy forgave us for secretly emptying his treasured commemorative Elvis Jim Beam decanters 😃

A beautiful soul.

Very nice gentleman

Mr. Chancy was such a kind man. He always had a smile and a great big hug for me. All of his many friends loved and admired him when we would see him pull up in his cherry Mustang or pickup truck. I am proud to call him my friend. You will be missed Sir!

Never knew anyone who did not love Chancy. He was a man of substance and I am proud to know him. And, Berta is saying, 'I have been waiting'.

one of a kind my man, you will be missed.
