Ruby ''Polly'' Keeter, 77, of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Summit, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 in Joplin.
Polly was born on January 19, 1948 in Marion County, Arkansas to the late Jeff and Ruby (Billings) Patterson. She loved being outdoors, especially enjoying the peace of bird watching and she treasured every moment spent with her family.
Polly is survived by her son, Billy Keeter (Christina); two grandsons, Blaine Roach and Jackson Keeter and three nephews, James Johnson, Jr., Michael Johnson and Jeffery Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Gene Keeter and her sisters, Dora Belle Johnson and Betty Lou Wilson.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Roller Burns Funeral Home, 725 N. Panther Ave., Yellville, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Layton Cemetery.
