Catherine Ranea Barranger of Fort Walton Beach, Florida passed from this earthly life on Tuesday, November 11th, 2025 at HCA Fort Walton-Destin Hospital in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was one of 5 children born to Paul Ray Lee and Mary Frances Reeves Lee. Cathy was born March 15th, 1957 in Harrison, Arkansas.
Cathy became a registered nurse in 1984 and worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse for many years. She held several different nursing positions during her nursing career.
Her family was the center of her world and she loved them all deeply. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and nephews and nieces.
Survivors include her children, David Bohannon of Fayetteville and Paula Eddington (Daniel) of Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Cady Bohannon, Will Eddington, Brian Cook and Izzy Bohannon; her mother, Mary Frances Lee of Marshall; two siblings, Laura Busbee (Jug) of Marshall and Kevin Lee, also of Marshall; nephew, Dylan Busbee (Courtney) of Marshall; nieces, Alyssa Busbee and Jenna Brenaman, both of Marshall; great nieces, Mila Brenaman and Charlie Busbee and great nephew, Jeb Busbee.
Cathy is preceded in death by her father, Paul Ray Lee; brother, Stephen Lee and infant brother, Randall Gene Lee.
Graveside services for Cathy will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 19th, 2025 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Foy Whitelaw officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
