Jessica and Aubrey West

of St. Joe, AR

November 10, 2025

Jessica Grace West, age 44 and Aubrey Anna West, age 8, both of St. Joe and Harrison, Arkansas, left this Earth on Monday, November 10, 2025. They were the beloved wife and daughter of Dickson West. Jessie was born April 23, 1981 in Mountain View, California and Aubrey was born February 20, 2017 in Harrison.

Jessie grew up in Louisiana, moving to Harrison in 2012 with her husband, Dickson. Aubrey spent her brief life in the communities of St. Joe and Harrison. They leave behind heartbroken family and friends, including Jessie's grandmother, Anna Schnadelbach; her parents, Allison and Dave Schwarz; her biological father, William Donovan; an aunt and various cousins. Aubrey leaves behind her brother, Chaplain Michael Brumley, his wife and their sons, Aubrey's nephews; her great-grandmother, her grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Not the least of these friends who will miss them are St. Joe Elementary School teachers, staff and students. Aubrey loved them, one and all. Mother and daughter both had magic running through their veins. Their DNA was quirky, their energy was unbounded and their love was irrepressible to anyone lucky enough to receive it. They truly were both unicorns.

Memorial service was private.

I coached Aubrey at her tumbling gym. She was so happy and eager to hit all her goals. She was so sweet and kind to all the kids around her, she loved to try and help any littler kids. I will keep all of her family in my thoughts.

My heart is broken over this tragic and sudden loss. I hope all who had the great fortune to know Jessie and Aubrey find comfort in their sweet memories and in one another’s caring embrace.
I will always remember Jessie as an energetic sprite with boundless enthusiasm for life.
Although I never got to meet Aubrey in person, to my delight her loving grandmother and my dear friend Allison shared her with me through joyful, videos, pictures and stories.
I am so very sorry for this loss
