Linda Sue Davis

of Prairie Grove, AR

December 10, 1946 - November 13, 2025

Linda Sue Davis, 78, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away surrounded by the love and care of her family. Linda was born on December 10, 1946 to Roy and Gertrude (Lindsey) Bidwell in Dyess, AR. She was the devoted wife of Wilbur Davis and a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her seven children, Belinda Powell (Mike) of Green Forest, AR; Karen Allen (Tracy) of Charlotte, NC; Samantha Leverich of Alpena, AR; Wilbur Davis, Jr, (Laura) of Tampa, FL; Christopher Charlton (Crystal) of Mountain View, AR and Chad Pacheco of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Sharon Sims of Farmington, AR; Theresa Copeland of Paducah, KY and Michael Bidwell of Spanaway, WA.

Linda leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. For the last several months, she was lovingly cared for by her daughter and son-in-law, whose devotion brought her comfort and peace.

Linda lived a life full of color, courage and curiosity. A true free spirit, she stood up for everyone she met and embraced new experiences with an adventurous heart. Her life took her across multiple states and even abroad to the United Kingdom, each place shaping her story in its own way.

A woman of many talents, Linda was author, painter and a deeply spiritual soul who shared her gifts generously. Throughout her life she worked as a salon owner, corporate tax preparer and in her younger life as a CNA, always finding ways to care for others

Her greatest joy however, was her family, Linda loved them as fiercely and fully as any mother could and her absence will be felt profoundly by all who knew and cherished her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the CCU staff at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center as well as the Hospice staff for their exceptional care, compassion and support shown to Linda and her family during her final days.

Linda Sue Davis will be remembered for her strength, spirit and the boundless love she shared throughout her life.

Services were held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, AR on November 19, 2025.

Truly a wonderful mother, her aura, generated good intentions. Her mystique was fascinating. Her smile was big and her eyes spoke a thousand words. She always worried about her children hoping they were getting the most out of their lives. She always wanted the best for them. She was carefree, and she stressed about the wellbeing of her family in her own way. She will be missed, her gypsy life, I truly understood the depth. It was her will to live. I'm so blessed to have met her as a friend of her daughters 💓 Prayers for her whole family. I'll surely cry today.

Sister it is hard to believe you are gone from us. Lots of memories have flooded my mind. I will miss the times we played cards, and marbles. I know you are free of pain and you are walking on streets of gold. The lord had your mansion ready and he called your name and you went to him. Your children are sad but so glad you are free of pain. Linda I love you and my heart hurts but I know the sweet memories will come.
