Verna ''Ginger'' Hale, 68, of Benton passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in Little Rock. She was born on May 15, 1957 in Dothan, Alabama to James Andrews and Verna Brannon Andrews.
Ginger loved her family deeply and found great joy in the companionship of her beloved dogs. She dedicated 25 years of service to Arkansas Hospice before recently retiring. In her quieter days, she cherished time spent caring for her dogs, watching nature from the comfort of her home and growing tomatoes each season. She treasured the daily moments spent reminiscing and visiting with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Alma ''Sissy'' Fleming and her husband, Leon; her sons, Michael Blacklock and his wife, Courtney and Robert Blacklock; numerous grandchildren and three sisters and a brother, along with their extended families.
Ginger will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. Rest now, our mom, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and most of all, our Friend. Until we are all together again - we'll see you later.

I knew Ginger from dating in high school and, through FB, we stayed in touch throughout the years since. I will always remember her with love and affection. I am so sad to hear that she is gone, my heart is breaking. I will miss her terribly. RIP Ginger 🥰

Sincere condolences to Gingers family. Ginger was a great co worker and friend and will be deeply missed by many 💔

Sissy and Leon , Our prayers are with you and your family during this great loss of your Mother. May the Holy Spirit comfort your heart during this time of loss. Our deepest condolences.

Aunt Ginger was there during a particularly chaotic part of my life. She welcomed me and my mother into her home despite the inconvenience it caused, and I learned a lot from her. Despite any separations or divorces that came later, I’ve always considered her to be my aunt.

Ginger was a beautiful human being and will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the family. Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Deepest condolences and condolences for your loss. Please give our love to Michael and sweet Azlee
We will be praying for the family
