Juanita Faye Godfrey, age 87, of Tilly, Arkansas passed from this life to go home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Monday, November 10th, 2025 at her home in Tilly. She was born in El Centro, California on January 27th, 1938 to Julius Ivy and Ethel McKay Ivy. She met and married the love of her life, Eulan ''Dude'' Godfrey, then moved to Tilly, Arkansas spending 72 years with him.
Juanita was a charter member of the Tilly Missionary Baptist Church, which she faithfully attended until she was no longer able. One of her greatest joys in life was being called Mom, Nana or Gran and having her house filled with everyone she loved. Juanita was always ready to help, no matter the size of the problem.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Ethel Ivy and one baby son.
Survivors include her husband, Eulan ''Dude'' Godfrey of the home; two daughters, Raylene Fountain (Gerald) of Tilly and Leora Housley (Greg) of Tilly; five grandchildren, Russell Fountain (Kim) of Tilly, Jill Hendricks of Pottsville, Bridget Eaton of Tilly, Chelsea Anderson (Talon) of Hector and Clinton Housley of Tilly; ten great-grandchildren and one brother, Arlen Ivy (Pat) of Russellville.
Graveside services for Juanita will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at Union Hill Cemetery near Tilly with Bro. Nathan Ferguson officiating. Honorary bearers will be Gerald Fountain, Greg Housley, Russell Fountain, Clinton Housley, Talon Anderson and Kelby Middleton. "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." Psalm 23:1.

Such sad news to hear of our dear Aunt Neat’s passing. She was an angel on earth, a wonderful aunt to grow up with and the best “vittle” (dumplings) cook ever.
She had a beautiful singing voice, a strong Christian faith and deep love for her family.
