Rita Mae Spitler, 75, a resident of Lamar passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025 in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was born April 1, 1950 in Clarksville to the late Harley and Opal (Holt) Spitler.

Rita was of the Baptist faith. She loved spending time with her family and watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies.

In addition to her parents, Rita was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Chamberlin and three brothers, Elmer, Bud and Kenneth Spitler.

Those that are left to cherish the memories of Rita are her daughter, Carol Paiz and husband, Jeremy of Scranton, Arkansas; two sisters, Rosetta Spitler and Lois Bohannon; one brother, Thomas Spitler and wife, Paula; two grandsons, Jared Paiz and wife, Haley and Justin Paiz and wife, Cassie; three great-grandchildren, Lillian, Chesney and Jackson Paiz; along with many friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas. Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Lamar Cemetery in Lamar, Arkansas with Jared Paiz officiating.

Rita was a special cousin, friend and amazing Mom, grandmother, sister, and aunt. We shared so many good, bad and crazy times growing up. She was just like a sister to me and I will forever love her dearly. Fly high Rita! Love you🩷
