of Maumelle, AR
January 30, 1951 - November 2, 2025
Charles Lynn Robertson, 74, of Maumelle, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, November 2,2025. He was born on January 30, 1951, in Enola, Arkansas to J.C. and Mable Robertson.
Lynn was preceded in heaven by his daughter, Mandee Robertson and brothers, Alton and Steve Robertson.
Everyone knew Lynn to be full of life, faith, love for his wife and his children and grandchildren, and a zeal to serve his Lord through the local church and community. He served as a pastor of local churches in Arkansas, Texas and Colorado for 49 years. He loved teaching Bible studies word for word verse by verse through a book of the Bible. He always said every word is important, never skip a word. He was gifted in creating fellowships in the church through music and skits where people could laugh, participate with their own talents and get to know and love each other in a deeper way. In every church he started a youth band and worked with them to teach them to use their gifts to serve the Lord. He was a mentor to hundreds of young people who grew up to serve the Lord in their own churches. Making disciples was his main mission and calling from God.
Lynn was a self-taught musician. He had a mind and heart full of melody. He has written hundreds of songs and loved to play his guitar, sing and perform concerts.
Lynn completed his Master of Religious Education and the course work for his Doctorate of Education from Southwestern Seminary, Fort Worth, TX.
Lynn was active in community life from Serving as Civil Service Commissioner, to organizing march for life rallies and countless other activities.
Waiting here till we join him at Heaven's gate are the love of his life for 55 years, Debbie Robertson; Daughter, Sundi Robertson; Son, Charles and daughter in Love, Sarah Robertson; grandchildren, Charlee, Jordan Eleanor and Charles Atticus Robertson; Brother, Elton and Sharon Robertson, and a host of other family and friends who love him deeply.
There will be a Visitation on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Pickles Gap Baptist Church, at 12:00pm, with a Celebration of Lynn's Life to follow at 1:00pm with Brother Mark Hobson officiating. His earthly body will be placed for waiting in his Resurrection site at Oakland Cemetery, Holland, AR.

Prayers for the family

Oh Debbie, I am so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. He took me under his wing in the early 2000’s and taught me so much about playing guitar in church praise teams among other hundreds of things. He was such an amazing disciple for Jesus. Well done good and faithful servant are the beautiful words I know he heard when he arrived at his reward in Heaven. Know he loved you and his family so much. You could see that in any conversation about yall. I know Mandee is so happy to have him join her up there with so many of our loved ones. Sending you prayers for comfort and lots of hugs and love from Florida!

I am so sorry for your loss. Lynn was a special person and will definitely be missed.
I am so sorry I can’t be there for the service. I will continue praying for all of you. May God wrap you in His love and comfort you as only He can. Love, Aunt Doris ❤️🙏

Brother Lynn was the best and our family will always miss him.

I have no doubt Lynn heard the words, "well done good and faithful servant." Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Til we meet again, Lynn.

Debbie, you and your family are in our prayers

Sending love and prayers for comfort and a peace that passes all understanding 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️

So sad and sorry for the loss of Lynn. My condolences to the family.

It was such a blessing to know Lynn and Mrs. Debbie. I’m so proud of the memories made with them and my person, Mandee. My heart breaks for those that loved him as well but rejoice for the hug he has waited so long to give Mandee❤️

Sweet Debbie, I am continuing in prayer for you. Brother Lynn, the musician, was the reason we joined First Southern. My sister, Helen Stone, stopped dead in her tracks when as we walked in that first Sunday, she heard the guitar playing country music and a man singing about standing on the solid rock. We both loved brother Lynn so much.

May God be with your family at this difficult time. We will certainly miss all of your sweet posts on Facebook. We love you and your family. ❤️

my heart breaks for you and your family... Lynn will not ever be forgotten...❤️

Lynn was a wonderful student of the Bible. During his time at CBC, he represented the Lord for a wonderful loving spirit. It was a joy to be one of his instructors. God bless you all.

Deepest sympathies to Debbie and the entire family. God bless.

Andy and I were sad to hear of Lynn’s passing but celebrating the wonderful reunion with Mandee. They are together once again in the Lord’s presence.

I'm so sorry Lynn has passed.

All I could think of when I learned Lynn had gone to Jesus was "... I have fought a good fight." He did and he could rest. Praying for you all.

My prayers for you and your family will be going up tonight and tomorrow. Lynn was so sweet and I never heard him complain about any of his pains. He was a great example of a family man and one who loved his Lord to the utmost. He will be missed. Love you Debbie!

Debbie we are so sorry for your loss. Praying for God to wrap his healing arms around you and your family over the next few days weeks and months ahead. Remember it’s not good bye it’s I’ll see you later. Glenn and I had so much fun in sharing our home and land for the GAB fall festival with music and hayrides. We have several that have gone to be the Lord since that time but we have such wonderful memories we will always cherish from those days❤️

Sorry for your loss.
Prayers for the family.

Lynn was a very good, pleasant person and neighbor.

We are so very sorry to hear of Bro. Lynn’s death while also celebrating that he is no longer in pain. I feel sure he has rounded up other musicians for a jam session or two in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lynn was a good man he will be missed RIP

I met Lynn at First Baptist Church White Hall and liked him the first time I met him. He was such a likeable friendly man with a great personality. He was fun to be around and you knew very quickly that he loved the Lord. He started a church music group that I had the privilege of playing guitar with him.
After My wife and I moved away Lynn and I stayed in contact by phone every now and then. I will miss him very, very much but I know I will see him in Heaven.
Debbie, Becky and I will be praying for you and your family.
