Millard Joe Cooper, 84, of Jonesboro, AR passed away on Tuesday, November 04, 2025 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born on April 5, 1941 in Brookland, AR to Hervey Lucian and Bronnie Juanita (Prestidge) Cooper. Millard attended Arkansas State University and worked as a data processor and quality control superintendent until retirement. He was a member of the Forest Home Nazarene Church. He enjoyed hunting, vintage cars and reading and watching westerns.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to remember Millard are his loving wife of 65 years, Reba Cooper; son, Stephen (Susie) Cooper; daughters, Louann (Steve) Hobson, Candy (Brian) Smith and Susanna (Kevin) Townsend; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley, Casi, Zachary, BJ, Brayden, Cooper and Wesley; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Terry Cooper; his church family, especially his Friendship Sunday School class and many other friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401).

In lieu of flowers, you can make a memorial contribution in Millard's name to Forest Home Church of Nazarene Building Fund (2403 Ritter Dr. Jonesboro, AR 72401).
