Tammy and Summer,
You know how much you mean to me.
Benny that guy was a hoot. I remember my mom laughing overtime he would deliver her flowers saying he is sooooo funny. Enjoyed working with him on many Valentine Days and Mothers Day. I love you all. I know this is hard and know this, whenever you need me I will be there.

Dear, sweet Bengy:

I was so shocked to hear of your passing. You are just too young to be gone. My mom, your Aunt Doris, always said “ The good die young.” and this is certainly true in your case.

I have so many precious memories of you from the time Aunt Marylyn had you until you were grown. She was so excited when she found out she was expecting you and you never failed to disappoint.

I still remember an adorable picture of you when you were about two years old standing in the snow in a little navy blue coat and hat. You were simply adorable.

I loved spending time with you, Chuck, and Mandi when we came to Batesville for the holidays. Y’all were the only cousins I was ever really close to and being with y’all was very special. I always wished we lived closer.

Years later you became special second cousins for my children by always showing them such a good time when we came to visit. They also loved the time they spent with y’all.

I remember you as having the biggest heart and always being so loving towards others. You loved your family greatly and we all felt that, especially Tammy and Summer.

I will miss you my precious Bengy and I’ll forever treasure the wonderful memories I’ll forever carry in my heart.

Love you lots - Sharon

Rowlett was a very good old southern boy, he had a big heart, and he was always able to put a smile on our faces!! He loved to tell about the times he saw Bigfoot, or when he gave Aaron life advice on if he loved his money he wouldn’t get married or have kids (he later realized we were married and I was pregnant)!! He was the only person I have ever seen tell an inmate to take their shoes off in the hallway!! 😂 he was also the only person I saw multiple times use OC spray on himself before the inmates.. I always said it was because he was giving them a fighting chance!! He was loved and cared about by so many, and the McPherson unit will not ever be the same, because losing him has created a hole that no one else will be able to fill!! But I know we will see him again and he better save us all a place in the clouds with him and Bigfoot!

We have always been so proud of Bengy, our kind, helpful, and fun-loving nephew. He was a wonderful cousin to our daughter and especially to our son, taking him frog giggin, hunting & exploring surrounding mountains & creekbeds in a Jeep. As soon as our family would arrive in Batesville for every Thanksgiving holiday, Bengy, Chuck & Mandy, would show up to greet us & start the activities, such as cave exploring & selling pecans on the side of the street that they shook from trees in their grandmother's yard. We know Bengy will be missed by many and our prayers are with Tammy, Summer and Mandy. We know they will all be together again one day, as we feel there was no question about Bengy's faith in Christ and that he will be watching over them from his heavenly home. We are grateful that we all talked to him on the phone recently! Uncle Henry and Aunt Bitsy

Our hearts are breaking for this family. Bengy was a very special person. He was always willing to help and had kind words for all. I will never forget how he stopped coming out from delivering flowers at the hospital to check on my Mom. My Mom was sitting outside and he was worried on her. We talked about her and I told him, she would be okay which she is, it was so sweet but that was Bengy. Treasure your memories because he loved y’all.
