Rebecca Ann Rettig, 79, of Bauxite passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born on October 18, 1946 in Birmingham, Alabama to Richard Dillon and Suzan Joye Sherron Dillon.

Rebecca earned her associate's degree and devoted her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Nursing was not only her profession but her true calling. Throughout her many years in healthcare, she served with compassion, skill and kindness - touching countless lives with her gentle spirit and dedication to helping others.

She is survived by her two sons, Bryan Rettig of Bauxite and Brad Rettig of Toccoa, Georgia; two grandchildren, Allison Rettig-Hightower and Blake Rettig; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Phyllis Dillon and her sister, Valdia Tukushi.

Rebecca was married to her beloved husband, William H. Rettig for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Woody Dillon, Manley Dillon and Richard ''Dickie'' Dillon.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander with Bro. David Carr officiating. Nursing Honors will be provided by the Legacy Keepers of Arkansas in recognition of Rebecca's lifelong service and dedication to the nursing profession.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home of Benton.

Rebecca will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to family and her unwavering commitment to the care and comfort of others.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. May you find peace and comfort in the promises of our heavenly Father Jehovah, as found in his Word the Bible, at Acts 24:15: "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." and Psalm 37:29: "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." Revelation 21:3,4.
