October 6, 1995 - October 27, 2025
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Kayla Gail Vines (Townsend), who left us way too soon to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025. Kayla was born on October 6, 1995, and raised in Bigelow, Arkansas. Kayla filled life with laughter, love and joy that touched all those around her. She was known for her kind heart, cheerful spirit and contagious laugh. Above all, her greatest joy in life was being a mother to her two boys Weston and Landon Townsend. There wasn't anything she wouldn't do to see them smile, whether it be playing outside, going to the park, or just spending time together. These were her happiest moments. She never minded muddy hands or messy days as long as the boys were having fun. She loved making holidays extra special, some may call it extreme or overboard. Though her time on Earth was brief, her love was boundless, Kayla's love will live on in the laughter of her boys, the hearts of her family, every beautiful sunrise, in the warmest of sunsets, and the countless memories she gave us.
To Weston and Landon,
Mommy received a call from Jesus, one that she could not ignore. Always know that she is watching over and protecting you from above and that you are her greatest loves.
Kayla is survived by her cherished sons, Weston and Landon Townsend; her loving parents, Teresa and Mike Vines; brothers Justin and Tyler Vines; nephew Colton Vines; Grandma Charlotte Chance (David Foster) and Grandpa James Vines and treasured extended family and friends.
Grandma Ernie Vines and Grandpa Harroll Chance welcomed her with open arms into heaven.
''The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me lie down in green pastures. He leads me besides still waters, and He restores my soul.'' Psalms 23:1-3

This is so heartbreaking! I have such fond memories of Kayla from her time in my classroom and on my cheerleading team. Kayla was such a bouncy, fun, and sassy little thing! Goodness, what a joy she was! Her smile and positive energy is what I remember most. I can still see her walking in my classroom just as happy as can be! This family has a special place in my heart. My heart is breaking & I could not hate this more. I love you all.
