Patsy Joy Davis, born November 22, 1930, went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2025, after 94 years of living.

She was born at home in Little Rock, Arkansas to Garland and Harriett Smith. She soon relocated to North Little Rock where she received her education. A few of her accomplishments while in school were Captain of Cheerleaders, a member of the Home Coming Court, member of the school newspaper, attended Arkansas Girls State and she was a Rainbow Girl finishing as Worthy Advisor.

In her adult years, she continued to serve. She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church Choir, one of the original members of the North Little Rock Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and became 2nd President of the Auxiliary. She was appointed to the North Little Rock History Commission and has contributed numerous historical documentations to the group. She was an avid Genealogist.

She made her profession of faith to the Lord Jesus Christ and joined Baring Cross Baptist Church in 1941. She had strong Christian values and taught her family the same.

One of her favorite Bible verses was Philippians 4:6-7.
''Don't be anxious about anything; rather, bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks. Then the peace of God that exceeds all understanding will keep your hearts and minds safe in Christ Jesus.''

She married her high school sweetheart Aubrey ''Mert'' Davis in 1949 and was blessed with 72 years of happiness, a comfortable home and son, Bruce. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She fed us well, agreed to numerous days and evenings of babysitting, made outfits and took us all on shopping trips. But mostly she just loved us without restraint.

Predeceased by parents, Garland and Elizabeth Smith; brother and sister-in-law, G.L. Jr. and Margaret Smith and beloved husband, Aubrey L. ''Mert'' Davis. Bruce & Family, I was saddened to hear of Pat’s passing. She was a cousin to me on the Smith side. Garland and my mom were 1st cousins. Garland, Lizzy and Pat came to see my family many times when I was a child. I will try my best to attend on Saturday. I’m 90 now so it’s sometimes difficult for me to attend everything. God bless you and your family during this time. Nancy

Bruce, Cindy and family, we are saddened to hear about Mrs. Davis. She was such and sweet and kind person. Whenever we saw Mrs. Davis, she always greeted us with a beautiful smile. I know she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Our hearts hurt for you and we pray that God will comfort you and give you peace during this difficult time.
