June 26, 1949 - October 25, 2025

Bonnie Marie (Lawler) Hawkins, 76, a resident of Clarksville passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 in Conway. She was born on June 26, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Clyde Clayton and Berniss Julia (Gatz) Lawler.

She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, love of music and strong lifelong friendships. Bonnie was a fierce advocate for her family, with her strong maternal advice and guidance to many. Lifelong hobbies included crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting and sewing. Also a plant and flower enthusiast. Bonnie worked in the Clarksville area for more than 30 years in medical settings.

Bonnie was predeceased in death by her husband of 55 years, Gary C. Hawkins and two sisters, Janet Graham of North Little Rock, AR and Claudia Mitchell of Trevor, WI.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Gary Scott Hawkins (Dale) and David Clayton Hawkins (Dana) all of Clarksville, AR; two brothers, Jon Lawler (Dawn) and Terry Lawler; three grandchildren, Christopher Hawkins (Rebecca), Kendall Gill and Katie Johnson (Jacob); four great-grandchildren, Jameson Hawkins, Colton and Jaxon Johnson and Christopher Kendall Gill Jr.; along with many more family and friends, including her dear friend of 55 years, Pam Redd (Leon) of North Little Rock, AR.

Arrangements have been made under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with a visitation to be held from 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. A funeral service for Bonnie will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.

I will remember her from my last visit in AR. We were first cousin, our mothers were sisters. We visited often when we all lived in Chicago. Rest peacefully, my cousin.
