We have been friends and neighbors with Don and Roxy since they moved here around the early 1990’s. We seen Don every day until about April when he would come by our house on his bike. Don will be missed in the neighborhood but he is with his love Roxy. Good Speed!

I've worked at Arby's for 16 years. Mr Don would visit us daily for coffee and chats. He has made such a huge impact on my lift and felt like family. He has watched me transition from a 17 year old girl to a grown woman with a child of my own.
Mr Don was always there to lend a hand and a sweet word of advice. I never got to meet his wife Roxy but he spoke of her often. So often I felt as if I knew her too.
Mr Don has the kindest soul I've ever met.
Praying for his family.
His Arby's family loves and misses him so much!

We have so many good memories of Don and Roxie... They are both very special, and we look forward to seeing them again when the time is right. We thank God for them, and also for those that invested time in them, both in Colorado and Arkansas!

At last, Don has gone to the better place.

I worshipped with him and Roxy at Boston Street when Hoyt and Clark served as elders. Later on we happened to be in the area again and he was still at Boston Street and Hoyt was still preaching.

He sat up close to the front and paid close attention in class often having a question for Hoyt!

I have so many great memories of Don Rodger’s and his wife Roxy. Don was always so kind and good to me. I have always enjoyed talking to him and laughing with him.

I’ll never forget as a young child he once teased me and called me Hannah Banana. And I wrote him a letter telling him my name was not Hannah Banana my name was Hannah Maria. And from that point on he made sure to always call me Hannah Maria and never let me forget about that letter. Even the last time I saw him as a grown adult with children of my own he still made sure to call me Hannah Maria. He would always apologize for ever teasing me when I was so little.

Thinking back on all the many memories I have of Don they all make me smile. He was such a kindhearted man. I know he is with Roxy again now in heaven.

“Well done my good and faithful servant”, Don lived his life well and he loved God with all his heart. I hope and pray that someday I’ll get to see him again and I’m sure even in heaven he will still call me Hannah Maria. 🙂♥️

Brother Don was a very faithful Christian. I absolutely loved seeing him at services. He was so happy to be there with his brethren. He was an inspiration for many.
