Belinda Kay Williams

of Trumann, AR

September 25, 1957 - October 23, 2025

Belinda ''Sis'' Williams, 68, of Trumann, AR passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at her home. She was born on September 25, 1957 in Flint, MI. Belinda worked as a Forklift driver for Nice-Pak before retiring to take care of her husband.

Where to start?

Belinda Williams (sis, Ms. B) was an incredible soul, full of love and compassion for those around her. No one had to second guess what was on her mind, she was quick with a comeback or comment and no filter was ever used when she had something to say.
She grew up quickly in the Fairview neighborhood with a posse of friends who kept her going. She was the fixer, the counselor and the gang leader to many. From the age of 9 her house was the one with all the bicycles in the front yard. She made her own rules and she stuck to them.
Belinda lost her dad at the age of 11 and she became the head of the house. She cooked and cleaned and washed clothes for herself and 3 boys. She knew how to put a meal together on a dime. Her house was always full of young girls looking for advice and a shoulder to cry on.
She took on challenges in life with a ''can do'' attitude. There was nothing she could not do if she set her mind to it.

She had her first child (George Hannah 2nd) at an early age and from day one she was ''mom''. She went to work at Frolic footwear and took care of her newborn son like she had been doing it all her life. She didn't like to ask for help; it wasn't in her nature to take handouts from anyone.
She had her daughter (Cassandra Williams) years later and she became her world. Belinda moved from Frolic footwear to Colson Casters at that time. And made a name for herself as a self-motivated woman who could work circles around anyone else. Again, she became the ''go to'' person to help with any problem her coworkers or friends might have.
In 2003 Belinda met the love of her life, Phillip Watts. She moved to Trumann Arkansas and enjoyed country living for many years. It was about this time that she moved to Nice Pac and worked until Phillip became ill and needed her full-time attention. She lost Phillip to cancer in 2019. She never recovered from the loss of her best friend and husband.
Belinda lost her mom, Snow White Mccoy, in 2019 two weeks after.

Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, Carl D. Smith and Snow McCoy; her husband, Phillip Watts and five brothers, Ron, Don, Rick, Vick and Mike Smith.

Survivors include her son, George Ernest Hannah, II; a daughter, Cassandra Williams; three grandchildren, Weston Coots, Madison Smith and Lukas Smith and brother, Robert Smith (John Norberg).

Chapel services will be 2 pm Monday, October 27, 2025 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.

Visitation will precede the service and begin at 1 pm.
