Ronald P. Kincade

of Mountain Home, AR

August 19, 1947 - October 23, 2025

Ronald ''Ron'' P. Kincade of Mountain Home passed away Thursday, October 23 at the age of 78. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.

Ron was born on August 19, 1947 in Trumann, Arkansas to the late William and Sue (Casiday) Kincade. He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Lea Kincade of the home; two sons, Jeff (Theresa) and Jason (Lindsay); five grandchildren, Kolt (Abby), Alexis, Bryce, Anistyn and Abigail; one nephew, Shannon (Tina) and one great-niece, Ashton. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Ron practiced law for more than five decades, serving the Twin Lakes area with distinction both in private practice and public service. A general practice attorney with Kincade Law Office at 701 South Church Street in Mountain Home, Ron was known for his fairness, professionalism and deep commitment to justice.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Ouachita Baptist University in 1970 and went on to graduate from UALR School of Law before moving to Mountain Home in 1975. Ron began his career with the Arkansas Department of Correction in 1970, later opening his own practice and serving as a juvenile referee. He then became a deputy prosecuting attorney in the mid-1980s. He was first elected Prosecuting Attorney for the 14th Judicial District in 2002, serving Baxter, Marion, Boone and Newton counties until his retirement in 2014.

Throughout his long and respected career, Ron emphasized compassion and understanding within the justice system. He believed that not every offender needed to go to prison and he often reminded young prosecutors to recognize the difference between bad people and people caught in bad circumstances. His wisdom, fairness and humanity left a lasting mark on the courts and the community he served.

In August of this year, the City of Gassville honored Ron upon his retirement as City Attorney, presenting him with the key to the city in recognition of nearly 50 years of dedicated public service.

Ron Kincade's legacy of integrity, compassion and commitment to justice will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Mountain Home, Monday, October 27th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 28th at 11:00 am with Pastor Tad Rogers officiating, a private burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bomber Booster Club.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home. Please visit our online guestbook at www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/mtnhome.

Donna Lea, Jeff, Jason and to all of the Family,

Dennis and I are with each of you in our thoughts and our prayers. It just wasn't possible with Dennis' Infusion schedule for us to make the trip to Mountain Home last night or today.

We treasure our memories made with you, Donna Lea and with Ron and your precious sons. Such a wonderful family!! And your support of The Bombers has always been phenomenal!!

I do not ever recall either of you being anything but supportive and positive!

You raised two amazing and outstanding young men, as well. We love them both very much! Distance and health issues may separate us, but you all are always in our thoughts and our prayers.

The years seem to pass way too quickly and yes, time gets away from us all... but, we will Always treasure The Good Ole Bomber Basketball days🏀
Your family was and will always be The Best of the Best when it comes to the Bomber Boosters.

Such a great life for Ron in soo many ways. And Donna Lea, you were and always will be my role model as a wife and as a mother and grandmother.

Lay your very special husband, father, grandfather, attorney, booster, rancher and , community leader to rest today and know that he will Always be with each of you deep in your hearts. Live to make him so proud! He leaves such a great Family Legacy.

With Love and our sincere condolences,
Dennis and Carol Copeland

So sorry to hear this news. Ron was one of the first people I met when I moved to Lakeview from New Orleans in 1997.
Our friendship grew extremely fast and within months we were together nearly every day. Our friendship was mixed with business and politics.
Ron wrote the Forward in my first book and negotiated the contracts pertaining to it.
In 2010, I went on a book tour and even though I didn’t make it back to Mountain Home often, we talked nearly daily. I eventually moved back south and due to health issues and distance, we were not in contact as much. He will always be a dear friend.
Prayers for Donna Leigh, Jeff, Jason Jason and their families.

Jim and I are heartbroken. We have so many wonderful memories of Ron. He was one of the first to welcome us to First Baptist Church when we moved here ten years ago. He was our Sunday school teacher for several years and we loved him so much. He was there when I found out that I had cancer and prayed over me with several others, right in my doctor’s office. It meant the world to me. He will be greatly missed.

Donna Lea, Jeff, and Jason, I am so sorry about Ron’s passing. He is a very special person in my life as I look back to the years when our families were living in NLR when Ron and my Dad were in law school and medical school as well as over the years when our families would get together. He was like an extra Dad for me in many ways. He took me on my first motorcycle ride, handed me my first sparkler on a 4th of July, and patiently helped me to learn how to waterski for the first time. I am so glad he was a part of my life and only wish we had lived closer to you all! Praying for y’all.
