Teresa Ellen Emmons, 69, of Conway was born on March 23, 1956 in Alread, Arkansas to the late George Burchard and Ruby Ellen (Forrester) Postell and passed from this life on October 21, 2025 in Conway. She was a retired restaurant worker and loved to dance, oldies music, old western movies, photography and collecting pens. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Teresa was Pentecostal in faith yet appreciated her Baptist influences.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles (Bud) Emmons; two children, Earl Felton, Charles Lewis and four siblings, Joe Postell, Ray Postell, Ricky Postell and Mikel Brannon.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Billy Postell, Jonathan Felton; one daughter, Lauren ''Candy'' Phillips; several grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Postell; two sisters, Kathy Brown (Donnie), Berniece Marlin (Ken) and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pine Mountain Cemetery.
The family has said you may wear tie-dye in memory of Teresa.

Theresa was my mom's roommate for the last several years at Salem Place, she was so good to my mom you would think that they we sisters. I just learned of her passing yesterday. I looked at the pictures and saw the 1 of Theresa and mom on st patricks day a few years ago. I think that she may have been missing mom because she passed a little over a month after mom passed on sept 19th. My sister and I send our condolences to the family and send a big thank you to Theresa in heaven.

Aunt Teresa was one of the sweetesr and most sincere people I have ever known. She would truly light up when she saw anyone she knew, especially family. I knew a giant hug and smile were coming every time I met her. Even if it had only been a day. We love you Aunt Teresa ❤️

This Lady was a Soft Spoken Bright eyed Sweet Soul.... Her spunk and whit was as Whimsical as her Spirit...
She had a Vibe all of her own and a Hug that was always Genuinely wrapped!!
In the last year Ive spent with Mrs Teresa, driving her to her Dr. appointments my gratitude in Simple Pleasures shifted to more of seeking them for others and Sharing them.... To truly Enjoy them !!
The smiles over a catfish dinner or a pineapple whip were childlike and infectious...
I dont know who it enjoyed more, She or Myself...
To be Kind and Genuine and make way for laughter feeds the Soul for BOTH!!
I am going to find comfort in the last words and that hug that felt familiar as family.. When i returned her home from a ER trip.....
It told me she received everything I tried to convey....
We're worthy of Kindness and sometimes needing Compassion shown...
It lands just as The Good Book commands it......
" MJ , I just love you and you've been a friend to me and good to me... thank you"
I hugged her tightly and fixed her tray with her McDonald's....
for a moment longer than usual I stood there looking at that cup of pens..... twirling them around..... just stuck there for a minute..... Reveling in that moment we just had and being Thankful I brought her back that day!!!
I looked back at her getting situated in her recliner and saw her eyes Big and Smiley and just waving at me...
