of Conway, AR
December 25, 1972 - October 17, 2025
Chris Camp, the son of Wayne and Carolyn of Mountain Home, finished his journey on this earth and passed into the loving presence of his eternal Father and His son Jesus on Friday, October 17, 2025. Chris was born in Mountain Home on Christmas Day, 1972.
His sisters, Somer Day, Landrey Camp and brother, Callan Camp are from Mountain Home.
Chris has lived in Conway, Arkansas for several years. Chris lived a simple life, not cluttered with the daily affairs which bring stress to many people. Chris adjusted to his personal limitations and found pleasure in light janitorial work and working with plastic and yarn, making coasters and placemats or other design projects. Chris loved to fish, whether it was a pond, lake, river or our family trips to Canada. He always seemed to catch fish, even when others were not. Due to his pure heart, he developed an exceptionally large host of friends both in the family, the Church and the community in general. He always enjoyed being around people.
Chris loved the Church. He confessed his Lord several years ago in baptism and attended faithfully with the members of the Robinson & Center Church of Christ in Conway.
A visitation will be held between 5-6:00pm on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with a service to follow at 6:00pm. A second visitation will be held between 9-10:00am on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at the Mountain Home Church of Christ with funeral services to follow at 10:00am. Interment will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Chris was in our lives for a short time, he was very fond of my daughter Trinity and he became a part of our family as a result of it. He was very genuine and had a beautiful spirit. I’m so glad God allowed him and Trinity to cross paths.

Just a gentle soul. Always like to ask questions or for a little help. I have one of his crosses. Sweet man

What we might call our loss is most certainly Heaven's gain. Jesus was waiting for his arrival just a few days ago. What a joyous reunion had to be planned for this special day for Chris!
