Gwen Earllynne Tucker, 83, of Little Rock, passed away on October 16, 2025, at Hospice Home Care. She was born on January 9, 1942, in Odessa, Texas, to Ocie Earl and Helen Williamson.
Gwen married James Tucker on May 27, 1959, in Sundown, Texas. She was a dedicated nursing instructor and took pride in her work and in the students she guided throughout her career.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Gwen is survived by her brothers Rick Williamson (Doris) of Bismarck and Earl Williamson Jr. (Pam) of Guy; her sisters Lana Dawson (James) of Springdale and Sherry McCaslin (Randy) of Clinton; her children Jimmy Tucker (Jenny) of Roland, Denise Tucker Yerton (David) of Bauxite, and Ricky Tucker (Mary) of Mabelvale; eight grandchildren Trey Tucker (Leslie Jo) of Hot Springs, Ashley Williamson of Little Rock, Amber Jaggars (Jesse) of Raleigh, North Carolina, Chris Bays, stationed in South Korea, Ricky Tucker Jr. of North Little Rock, Jae Kell (Tyler) of Roland, Juliann Krolick (John) of Houston, Texas, and Landon Tucker of Roland; and twelve great-grandchildren: Trace and Christopher Tucker of Mountain Pine, Jack and Rhett Tucker of Hot Springs, Abigail Bays Reed of Hot Springs, Jameson Jaggars of Raleigh, North Carolina, Cadence Pierce of Little Rock, Jerzee, Tucker, and Jett Kell of Roland, and Christiana and Liza Krolick of Houston, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. The family invites those attending to wear something red, Gwen's favorite color.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
