Gary Steve Bennett, born September 29th, 1952, age 73, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 16th, 2025. Gary was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to Harry Lynn Bennett and Melba Norene Bennett. He grew up in Carlisle, Arkansas with his two siblings, Sharon Richardson and Phillip Bennett. Gary farmed many of his early years until he Graduated from Baptist School of Nursing and Arkansas Statue University with his degree, Bachelor of Science. Gary worked as a Registered Nurse at Baptist until retirement. Gary fell in love with Donna Thorne and married her in 1979 and together they raised two children, Shannon Little and Kyle Bennett. Gary loved hunting and being with family. He always had a joke and loved to watch football.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Donna Bennett and his two children, Shannon Little (Chris) and Kyle Bennett; his sister, Sharon Richardson and his niece, Sara Beth Scott (Ryan) and their son, Evan Scott and his nephew, Jim Richardson (Lindsey) and Matthew South (Jamie) and their daughter, Ava South and His beloved grandchildren, Abigail Little and Landon Little. Gary is preceded in death by his Father, Hary Lynn Bennett; Mother, Melba Norene Bennett and his brother, Phillip Bennett.
We will celebrate the life of Gary Steve Bennett on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas at 11 am. The family will have a visitation shortly before starting at 10am. Final interment to follow in Carlisle Cemetery, Carlisle, Arkansas. Gary's sense of humor and love will never be forgotten.
Flowers are welcome and may be sent to Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. For local arrangements, the family suggests contacting Tipton and Hurst. Or in lieu of flowers, make a contribution to Carti Cancer Center in Little Rock.

Prayers for you, Gary I’m sorry I didn’t get to come to your funeral. I’ve just now heard about it. We played some good football back in the day. where do you have some breathing problems You’re in a good place now. Well, all get together again.

I always enjoyed having Gary care for my patients. He did a great job, had a great attitude, and was unflappable.

Gary was dedicated Registered Nurse on the night shift. I always enjoyed taking shift report from Gary, I loved his sense of humor. He was a good Christian . Praying for Donna and family.
