Billy Childers, 92, of Joiner passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. He was born in Wardell on February 27, 1933, to Willie and Ruth Childers. Billy was a member of Wardell Baptist Church, Louise Chapel Cemetery Board, Birdsong-Whitton Water Board, and he served 20 years on the School Board for Rivercrest District. Billy is survived by his daughter: Nancy (Kirk) Lewis, grandchildren: Nathan (Paula) Lindley, Billy (Bethany) Edings, great-grandchildren: Amber Lindley, Chase Lindley, Gloria Edings, brother: Paul Childers and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Violet Childers, his son: Robert Childers, his parents, brother: Lear Childers and his sisters: Willa Mae Childers, and Mable Humble.
