Buddy's second daughter, Kristina, married Derven Sturgeon in 2018 and last December, they welcomed Buddy's youngest granddaughter, Aubrielle Grace.
Buddy's youngest daughter, Deanna, gave Buddy his long awaited first grandson, Michael John Charles. In addition to his three children, Buddy was very close to his late sister, Ruth Bowie and her children were like his own.
Buddy's oldest nephew, Justin Bowie, married in April of 2012. Together Justin and April have four of Buddy's great nieces and nephew; Adelynn Rose, Whitlee Jayne, Weston Lynn and Oaklee Grace.
Buddy's nephew, Robert Bowie, has three of Buddy's great nieces, Ashlynn Jade, McKenzie Rebecca and Maci Marie.
