Lillian Beatress Kerr

of Mabelvale, AR

April 16, 1941 - October 4, 2025

Lillian Beatress Kerr, age 84, passed peacefully into her Savior's arms on October 4, 2025, with her family by her side. Lillian was born to William Thomas (Bill) Moody and Nora Lovina (Viney) Moody on April 16, 1941, in Center, Arkansas.

After graduating high school, Lillian made Little Rock her home. From there she met the best-looking blue-eyed boy around, Wilcher Kerr. In 1961, Wilcher was called to active duty with the U.S. Army and they married and moved to Fort Bragg, NC. After Wilcher's release from the Army, they moved back to Little Rock and raised their family.

Lillian was an amazing seamstress and made many clothes for her family - many times copying the look of designer clothing without patterns. She was good at any craft she tried and often supplemented the family income by the things she made.

Lillian's priority in life was her family, and she was always present for her children whether it be tossing around a football or softball in the backyard or games of basketball in the driveway. However, the sport she cherished most was Golf. She learned to play later in life and enjoyed her time on the golf course with many of her friends. I think her greatest memory on the course was the day she beat dad!

Lillian was a great mom, but she really excelled as Nana. If there was a child around they knew her and knew her name was Nana! She loved them all and in turn, they loved her.

Lillian is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wilcher C. Kerr and her son-in-law,
Scott Ginn. She is survived by her son, W. Barry Kerr (Dawna), and daughter Lisa Ginn,
grandchildren W. Austin Kerr, Evan Kerr, Brad Ginn (Madelyn), Sara Johnson (Lance), Mia Ginn and Brianne Ginn. She is also survived by great-granddaughter Whitley Johnson.

Lillian was also preceded in death by her beloved parents, sisters Lenora Foster and A. Wilene Seat. She is survived by brother Mason Moody (Elaine), sisters, Betty Moody-Springer, Ann Messick, Joyce Davis and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Instead of flowers, Lillian would be happy to know you donated to St. Jude or the Wounded
Warrior project in her memory.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away….. Rev 21:

A visitation will be from 6:00pm-8:00pm Monday, October 13, 2025, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, AR. Funeral services will be 10:30 Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the funeral home with Pastor Randall Moody officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Sending love and prayers in memory of my Aunt Lill. I remember her warm smile and how her eyes lit up when she smiled. Though distance kept us apart, she’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

Nana Lil will be missed. She was my long time friend and neighbor. Many late night conversations and many laughs over our grandsons as they grew up together. It just doesn’t seem right to look up at her house knowing she has moved to her heavenly home.
Prayers for her families comfort.

My dearest friend,
I miss you so much already. I will cherish all the memories we shared on the golf course and just spending time at your kitchen table laughing and talking. You were a huge role model in my life. You taught me so many things! I called you my walking encyclopedia, you always knew the answer to all my questions. Until we meet again! I love you, Friend💔

For Aunt Lill the Bible is truthful at John 5:28, 29, and in Acts that there is going to be a Resurrection. What that means for us who mourn, We will see Aunt Lill again when Jesus Christ starts resurrecting our loved ones. We will miss Aunt Lill and pray for her children, grandchildren, and family’s comfort during this time of loss. Once again sorry for your loss.
