George Mickel McEntire, age 72, of St. Joe, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 at his home surrounded by family.  Mike was born in Dennard, Arkansas on October 3rd, 1952 to Elmer William McEntire and Velma Rose Morgan McEntire.  Mike married Charlet Wyatt in February of 1979. 
Mike spent his working years as a truck driver.  He drove for several companies and ended his truck driving career after working the last 25 years for Jack Simpkins.  Mike was an avid animal lover, especially his dogs and horses.  His quiet and strong spirit will be greatly missed by his family.
Survivors include his wife, Charlet McEntire of the home; two children, Misty Rogers (Cotton) of Lead Hill and Josh McEntire (Keelie) of St. Joe; grandchildren, Autumn Miles (Cameron) of Lead Hill, Trey Rogers of Conway, Sailor Hunter (Brooke) of St. Joe, Ella McEntire of Piercetown, Montana McEntire of Russellville and Ryder McEntire of St. Joe; great-grandchildren, Harper Hunter, Abigail Miles, Hannah Miles, Lillian Miles and Elgie Martin Jr.; two siblings, Morgan McEntire of Western Grove and Judy McEntire of Yellville; his beloved pets, Taco and Tiny and numerous extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Velma McEntire; an infant grandchild, Sandra Jo McEntire; siblings, Mary Storey, Jeannie Sevier, Kelly McEntire, Ruthie Craig and Nell Baker; sister-in-law, Susan McEntire; and his beloved horse, Cole.
Graveside services for Mike will be 10:00 AM Monday, September 29th, 2025 at Love Cemetery in St. Joe with Bro. Chris Wyatt officiating.  Burial will follow the graveside service.  Bearers will be Josh McEntire, Roy Trogden, Clint Davis, Trent Davis, Trey Rogers, Chris McEntire and Ryder McEntire.
