I loved me some Mr. Gee. The best cheer coach there ever was. Even though my best friend Lisa Humbert and I were his problem children, he still treated us with respect and dignity. I never had his math class, but he did make us learn about football. He told us how would we know what to cheer for if we didn't know what was going on. Rest easy Mr. Gee. My condolences to the family.

Mr. G was an excellent Math teacher and a great leader for the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System. His last act as a retired teacher was to make sure that every child in Preschool - 6th grade received a book to read.
The Class of 79 feels that we were his favorite class. He will be missed.

Mr. G taught me advanced math at Lee Sr High School over 40
Years ago but he never forgot my name or the other members of my class. His role as teacher went beyond the traditional role in that he cared about all students, both academically and personally. He was
there for us in any way he could help, always encouraging us to go forth and be better educationally and as a person. He is already missed. So glad I got to see him
And take pics with him at our class reunion last May. I will cherish these memories.
