Thomas Edward Owensby, 59, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He was born on July 11, 1966 to James Owensby and Greatha Walters Owensby in Marianna, Arkansas.

He is survived by two brothers, James Kevin Owensby, Loren Herrington, two sisters, Francis Weaver, and Bonnie Owensby, and three nephews, Danny Owensby, Christopher Kimble, and Ted Jones.

He is preceded by his parents, wife, Shirley Robertson Owensby, one sister, Ellen Gentry, and one brother, Lloyd Herrington.

Mr. Thomas was a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed puzzle books, playing spades and dominoes. He loved spending time with family.

Funeral services for Mr. Thomas will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
